Khun's Style [:

received a message from andrea yesterday about the working informaion.
The venue will be at marina and gonna be there tmr at 12pm for briefing.
got to wear plain black or white shirt, a jeans and a proper shoe.
therefore, i will be wearing a black long sleeve shirt, a long jean and white school.
actually the white school used to be my school shoe. HAHA!!
guess what my mother said ?
Mother: You siao ar?! wer white shoe go work.
LOLS.but i guess it's alright mahs. White shoe, quite cool yea >_<
Furthermore, i think the purpose of buying a shoe is to wear comfortably.
and white shoe doesn't mean only can be wear to school right.
So, yea, tomorrow gonna wear like what i've mention to the briefing.
was guessing isit right after briefing, straight away work?
Or after briefing, we can go home and rest xD LOL.
hope will be starting work lahs (: kekes.
don't wanna go home when my grandmother wasn't at home. tsk.
hate to see my irritating uncle.

Another unhappy thing. T_T
i will be staying in mymother house until my grangmother is back in singapore.
seriously speaking, i hate to stay at my mother house.
Maybe because the house is always so dark no matter it was in the morning or night.
and i really cannot tolerate my eldest brother.
everytime he got back from work at night, he will start to say unpleasant words.
therefore, i will be going into the room and either watch tv, listen to radio or sleep (:
but i guess it's only a week, so, it's alright yea(:

This morning when i woke up, i on the computer and visit the 2oneday forum.
read khun's interview and know why he was in JYPe.

i think that he was really great ! He is a thailand guy yet now living good in korean,
being a famous cute guy and having such a though time before debut.
he is really a good idol to be look forward too (:

after readin the interview, i went to ate my breakfast! macdonale :D hahas.
than when to sleep with my brother. HAHAS.

"My Korean friend took me to Korean Festival. I didn't realize there was an auditioning there. As I was walking, someone came to talk to me. I didn't understand what he was saying so he called an interpreter. He introduced himself that he was from JYP and came to set up the audition. He asked if I was interested to try the audition and I refused. In the meantime, a man from another company also came to talk to me."


Q: So you must be really shine at the time?

"That day, I wore half knee trousers with a shirt and sneakers. I also wore a hat and my hair was long and messy. The second guy introduced himself that he was from PJ, a Korean company working on music industry as well. While JYP and PJ were arguing who contacted me first, I walked out. But they hold me back. I then gave my phone number to both companies and got home. On the way home, I laughed with my friends not understanding what they want from me. I'm not even Korean.""The next day, PJ called me telling that the company is very big in Korea making food, clothes and associated with Samsung. I just said "yes yes yes" and told him that I was not really interested.""On the same day, JYP called me informing the company data and said that it was the company where Rain was working for. I kind of knew Rain so it got my interest. He told me he wanted me to try the audtion. I told him I couldn't speak Korean, couldn't dare to dance nor sing. He said 'it was all right' He convinced me for a while so I told him that I would try the audition. He also told me not to answer any PJ call anymore."

"Before I went to the audition, I had talked with my parents. My father questioned if it was reliable. I didn't know anyone in Korea. At the time, my grand mother loved Korean drama called 'Full House' which Rain was an actor. She asked some people and got the information that JYP was the third biggest entertainment company in Korea.""After knowing the result that I was picked, I called my parents again. They then explained many reasons…""They told me I get knowledge from studying but I would get a lot of experiences with this career. I will get to experience many things as well as things to prove myself who I may become. I'm a man. Working in this business let me involve with a lot of money, women and also fame. These allurements will prove me how good a man I can become. Besides the audition guy seemed to be credible. My mother told my father that if it was her she would do it. So I decided to go to Korea."



Q: What if you told your parents you didn't want to do. What would your parents say?

"They used to tell me that it was useless if I was miserable doing this. They allowed me to decide for myself. I kind of feel sorry for my studying life though. I got a lot of friends from 4 years living in the US. I moved a lot when I was in Thailand so I didn't have many friends. So I missed my friends there. But I thought that even though I moved they will always be my friends and we can call each other."




"Yes, there were. My friends from Vietnam, China, Hong Kong and Taiwan who didn't know this company also questioned the reliability of the company. They told me I could not speak Korean and I would not have friends there. They asked me to stay. I was hesitating but another group of friends urged me to go. They said they would have a celebrity friend if I became famous.""So I decided to work with JYP but I asked the company to wait for me to graduate from high school first. The company convinced me to go to Korea right away since I was 18 already at the time, saying most Korean artists start training as early as 14-15 years old. I had to have my parents to talk for me, so the company agreed to wait for my graduation. But something happened…""There was Rain concert 'Rainy Day' in Thailand. The company said it was a perfect time to debut me. The company asked me to work as an MC for a reality show about Rain. I went to Korea for a week. I was taken to many places and visited the company. I got to see how the company works, the training and how other trainees live.""Then I visited Thailand for two weeks and recorded the reality program at Siam Square. There were people asked for photograph and set up a Fan Club for me. There were some magazines about Korea interviewed me and asked for my e-mail for further questions. Those magazines regularly published my story so I began to be recognized. Then, I got back to school.""When I came back, there was a problem about my 3-week away. It seemed that my school didn't get my leaving letter. So I was marked with 3-week absence which affected my GPA result. I was really upset and couldn't believe that I was not able to graduate." "Finally, I went to talk with the school committee and asked for doing the exam in order to graduate instead. So I technically didn't graduate from the high school. I only got a diploma as a certificate that I had finished school. Then I moved to Korea. My father was angry and blamed me for being careless. He said it was not that I got into this job and could abandon the study. I was a bit upset at myself about the situation. But I moved on, thinking of starting over in Korea."



Q: Could you tell us about your life in Korea?"

I stayed in an apartment with other trainees. I had to follow activities as listed in schedules. The schedule was posted on a board saying whose class starts at what time… There was dancing and acting class. But I had to study Korean language as an extra." "The class originally began at 11.00am to 9.00pm. But later, the company asked me to speed up and the class started earlier at 9.00am. I only had a lunch break and continued all class until 11.00pm or sometimes till midnight. ""Every month, there is a test to see how well each trainee has developed. We need to pick a song to sing and another song to dance. The company film it in order to compare with our following performances. ""At the apartment, trainers keep updating each trainee's development. There is an Artist Training Team to monitor the relationship among trainees to see if we can get along with each other. There are rules to prohibit us from drinking alcohol and to be home before 10.30pm. If we are late, we have to call to inform our whereabouts. The most important thing is no girlfriend rule. If anyone breaks the rules, they will be kicked out."There are five people in my apartment. Trainees who live nearby can stay at their own houses. I can go out for movies on the weekends but I have to be back within the said time."



I really was in the beginning. I almost gave up because I was still upset with the studying that I had left. There was no guarantee that I would become success after debut an album or get stable jobs and earn money since I did not know their language.""I had no friends. I was thinking of going back to Thailand or America or starting over in Korea.""I thought of re-enrolling for Grade 12 at a Korean international school but I didn't have time due to the tough trainings. If I do both studying and training at the same time I would not accomplish in any of those. So I had to focus on training alone."My parents support me a lot. They said this was a one in a million opportunity and I should bear with it and do my best. After I heard this I still called them saying I didn't want to stay anymore. I asked some people how to quit and how much to pay for breaking the contract. They said it was about 300,000 USD which was very expensive. So I turned to my friends and consult. In the end, I realized that I used to be alone in New Zealand once when I was younger, 'why couldn't I be alone again now?' So I decided to stay on…"



Q: Which rule is the hardest for you?

"It is not the rule. It is the strict test in each month. I'm not mind with no-girlfriend rule because I didn't have anyone anyway. Among trainees, we are all like friends as we have to train and see each other everyday. There is no romance among us. It's a waste of time to think about it. There was a time that I felt like talking with this cute person. But after a while, we became close friends and played handclapping game or pushing each other instead."




"There was none. I was the first foreigner in the company. Other trainees are also worrying about the tough training. Some people had a lot of stress as they were afraid of not showing their development in singing or dancing. Some were worrying to be cut off. Some trainees who behaved badly were asked to leave the company after being bad for many times."



Q: They were really cut off?

"Yes they were, like having girlfriend in other province and not coming to class. Right now there are 25 trainees. 5 of them were already debuted, another 5 were cut. Some trainees are really talented and have high potential but if they are bad and avoid training class. They are not kept by the company. Most trainees are afraid of being kicked out as this is a good company. If they are out of this company, they might not get a second chance from other companies."




"I first met him when he had a concert in Thailand. Some people misunderstood that I knew Rain well. Actually I just met him at that day.""I worked as a MC for 'Super Star Survival', a reality show with 8 Korean candidates to go to the country where Rain performing concert. In Thailand, the candidates were to make a MV, dance and sing at Siam Square. When they met Rain, they talked in Korean. I didn't know how to speak Korean then, so I only smiled and nodded.""When I got back to Korea and met Rain again at the company. He greeted me asking how I was doing. After that I got to work with him in Dutchmill CF. Rain asked me if it was my first CF and advised me to do my best and don't be nervous.""Recently, I met him at his second concert in Thailand. He invited me to have meal with him and the crew. On the practicing day, he talked with me in his waiting room and invited me to watch his concert. He's a good guy. "



Q: What did you learn from Rain?

"He is a working hard artist. He always says to work as hard as you can when you work and also play as hard as you want when it's the time to play."




"What do you feel if they can't get to you and think that you are arrogant? I think there must be some people who think of me that way now. Some people asked for photograph but I was in a hurry. I never think that I'm a popular star or anything. If I have time, I'm willing to be with them. If I don't, I have to say sorry and ask for later time. "



Q: What do you think about your name "Nichkhun"?

"I used to be embarrassed by my name in the past. My real name is OK but my nickname 'Khun' is a bit weird. Some people said 'What kind of person is called 'Khun'? 'Khun (You) and Me?' So when I was a kid I always told my fake names to my friends, sometimes 'Win' sometimes 'Art'. There was one day my friend called me at home and asked to speak with 'Win' I even forgot and asked back 'Win who?' and he said 'Win-Nichkhun' (laugh)."




"Yes, I do. Sometimes I went there for eating and shopping with my mom. I like to think a lot and observe how other people live. Some person has no legs but still has to work. Some people are beautiful. Sometimes, I think how I look if I dress what they are wearing."



Q: When you see Thai people try to dress or look like Korean or Japanese, what do you think of them?

"It's all right for me. I don't think we can blame them for not dress like Thais. The question is 'What does Thai look? How is it different from Korean or Japanese styles?" For me, I think we should be ourselves and don't be confuse with oneself. We should do whatever we feel like to do.I used to talk with the makeup who is a hairdresser for me in Thailand. He is a ladyboy. My mother asked when he learned how to do the hair. He said he was an engineer but he found himself love to be a hairdresser so here he is. I think it is great to do what you love. The hairdresser said it was no one business and it didn't hurt anybody to be the way he wanted to be. I agree. When you are happy it's you who is happy and when you are miserable it's you alone who go through that. What I want to say is do what you want to do, don't do what other people do. Doing thing that you love is the best.




I'm really shy. If I met a good looking girl, I won't look at her. Mostly, the girls I talk were introduced by friends. I never ask for girls' number in my life. In America, I was buying things and there was a girl asking for the direction. I turned to answer and then the conversation went on to how old I was, what I was doing, where do I live…?



Q: So she was hitting on you…

Sometimes it was a boy.




In Korea, I told them that I was a foreigner. Sometimes, as I was walking, they were people following and asking for my number. I turned to my friends and said 'What did she say?' When my friends interpreted, I said to those girls that I was about to leave for America.Q: What about in Thailand?Nobody asks me yet because I'm always with my parents or my manger. If there were people coming to me, it was my manager who did the talk.



Q: What is your type of girl?

I like girls who are like my mother. Girls who are optimistic and don't nag. Girls who are energetic and get along with others. I like well-manner girls no need to be super well-manner but not a play around girl. Most guys like pretty girls. But for me, if I start to be with someone, she doesn't need to be beautiful. When we talk, I can notice later if she is nice or not. I like to observe people's character. Some people open themselves too much while talking. I may prefer to talk with a normal look people with nice talking.Anyway, I don't have anyone yet. I just made an example.



It was in pre-elementary school. [he should be around 5 years old]. There was a girl name 'Look Moo'. In the class, other students called me 'the Prince' and asked me to find my princess. I picked 'Look Moo' and told her that we would get married when we grew up. (laugh) I don't know if she still remembers this.



Q: Your company only allows Sudsapda to shoot you alone for the magazine cover. If the company allows you to pick a model to shoot with you, who would you pick to work with?

"Anybody in the world?"




(PR whispered to Khun to pick his mother to be safe) Khun said "They will think of me of being over the top that it's always my family." "I'm really afraid of being called fake. I would pick Jessica Alba from Fantastic 4. She's beautiful and cute."



Q: Where would you like to shoot?

"At the sea."

After I've read the nichkhun session of the 2oneday forum,
i suddenly find myself loving and getting more interested in knowing him.
what kind of person is him? what kind of attitude he had?
what was he thinking? why is he looking so positive? &blahblah...
Today while i was eating my lunch, i was asking myself this question.
Why you i like nichkhun? Nichkhun is what kind of guy?
And i know the answer myself :D
I like nichkhun because he is thoughtful and caring towards people.
Although he walks like a ganster but his cute had made him into a good guy.
Nichkhun is what kind of person?
he is a friendly, caring and thoughtful sweet guy.
He cares for his sister when her sister was wearing bikini.
He tried to go back thailand to visit his family once he have the chance.
He wrote message in his fanclub to let us know how was he doing.
He tried to sign every single item for his fans .

Next question i asked myself..
Why do i have the courage to learn bboy alone ?
As i used to be quite a timid person, so i seldom do things alone .
i guess the Answer to that is because of 2Pm bahs. hahas
after seeing their dance and hardwork,
i seriously feel their determination and their passion.
other than that, i, myself wanted to learn bboy for quite a long time.
maybe it is quite odd for a girl to really learn bboy in singapore,
therefore i wants to be the speacial one as i don't have much talent.
hahas, maybe from this, i can find out what i am strong in and start on that.
so, yeah, wish me good luck on 10 jan 2009.
a new fresh year, might be my new fresh start.


This year 2008, i have to say that many things had happened.
Unhappy things happen very oftenly.
Stress this words were often;y near me when exam is near the concer.
Maybe stress not because of studies, but friendship.
Now, just to think back about those unhappiness and arguement,
i think that it's kind of foolish and funny.
people like me can quarrel because of just a small little matter.
one of my friend can be really evil with her navie thinking.
one of my friend can be quite attitude at time but she's straight-forward.
Many people around me might be living good in their outerself,
but their inner self will be hide tightly.
So really never judge a person just by his/her actions, looks and way of speaking.
because they might be just a LIES.
yeah, that is what i've learn so far. (:
NOBODY can help you, except for your family members and YOURSELF.
YOU, YOURSELF is a very important role.
because YOU will cause YOURSELF to fall till the very bottom,
YOU will also cause YOURSELF to do very sucessfully.
What really matter is YOURSELF.
determinations, passion, patient, hardworking and courage...
i guess this is what i don't have for now.
therefore i have to slowly build it up. So that i will do good in the future.
yeah, it's gonna start tomorrow with my new hair cut. hahas.
really hope the hairdresser will cut what i wants and really make me love me hair. hah.
Hoping for a GOOD 2009 soon. hah, shall endd here.
